Court-Martialed

Major Talbert has met his fate after his decisions at the Battle of Columbus. For two days, units of the Iron Brigade struck the eastern flank of Kirkland's Brigade. Nearing noon at the second day, (with blood boiling on both sides due to the Indiana summer heat) Major Talbert led his men in an organized retreat that would sacrifice the eastern flank. This would cause a forced retreat of the rest of the Brigade across the Ohio River. Once it was determined that Talbert was the culprit, General Kirkland practically took an oath to punish him for his actions.

Oh well, he is still around.
