First Forged Knife

DAMN KNIFE!

One of my many Native American projects I have worked on and actually finished. I take great pride in this one since it was the first thing I ever made while learning how to use the forge. Many hours have been spent hammering away at this timesink. I love it for its versatility and usefulness over the years whether it be during OA ceremonies or campout activities (even as much that my Deadlands RPG character, Aptonagan Elogamgussit (also my Vigil Name), wields it into battle). I decided not to polish the blade in order to give it a more rustic and antique look.

Materials are spring steel, deer antler, a mixture of copper and brass, and a steel rod tying the blade to the pommel. Overall length somewhere around 14-15"
